How to Order

Ordering custom made furniture is an exciting process. We champion clear communication and easily defined stages. From initial enquiry, to the design and build stages, all the way through to delivery, we work with our clients to ensure they get what they want, within the agreed budget and timeframe.

Step 1/ Enquiry

Whether you’d like to speak over the phone, by email or arrange a time to pop into our workshop, we’d love to hear about your project and how we can help you realise it. If you can provide us with as much information as you have – dimensions, reference images and or simple sketches.

With this information we will happily provide a quote for your project. For further inspiration, you can view our materials, and past projects HERE

Step 2/ The design process

With a specified project we will invoice for a 30% deposit (kitchens and larger fitted projects) or a 50% deposit (Freestanding and smaller projects). From here our inhouse team of skilled designers will guide you through the process start to finish.

By utilising 3D computer visuals, material samples, you will be able to fully envision your project as it develops. Once your designs have been signed off, we invoice for the next 30% of your kitchen or larger fitted furniture quote.

Step 3/ Production

Each project is assigned a senior designer and lead maker. With the former also operating as the project manager feeding back to you progress shots and updates.

Our Multi disciplined team of maker’s love making, and as obvious as that sounds, means that they put their heart into everything that they create. We are well versed liaising with other contractors and stakeholders in your project to ensure a streamlined delivery as we enter the final stage.

Step 4/ Delivery and installation

With your furniture wrapped and ready to go, we book an agreed date to deliver and / or fit your furniture. The same making team who made your furniture will fit it, as they know the project inside and out.

We invoice 30% of your kitchen or larger fitted furniture quote a week before the agreed delivery day or the final 50% of freestanding furniture at this stage. The final 10% of a kitchen or larger fitted project will be held back until a week after fitting, or once any snagging has commenced.

Do you have a minimum order value?

We don’t have a strict ‘minimum order’, but due to the design heavy, bespoke nature of our work, our freestanding pieces generally start at around £3000, wardrobes start at around £6000, and kitchens start at around £18,000.

How can using London grown trees be sustainable?

Much of our furniture is made from London Grown trees ,either processed by ourselves or bought from our friends at Fallen and Felled. As trees reach the end of their lives, and/or have to be taken down, they can either be turned into furniture that stores carbon for generations to come, or chipped and used as firewood or to fire power stations. By using  this timber rather than importing it (often from dubious supply chains) we are continuing each trees story and exposing the beauty within. We also use Grown in Britain certified timber which is timber tat comes from actively and sustainably managed woodlands where a regeneration and, or relpanting scheme is in place.

How do you split up payments?

For freestanding furniture it is a 50% design and build deposit with the remaining 50% due one week before delivery.

For fitted furniture it is a 50% design and build deposit, a 40% payment one week before delivery and a 10% payment after fitting/or snagging.

For Kitchens it is a 30% initial payment, 30% on design sign-off, 30% one week before installation and 10% one week after fitting/snagging.

Do you use other material than just wood?

As well as using ethically sourced timber we also create furniture using a mixture of other mediums. Our furniture often incorporates metal, resin (in small doses), stone, glass and a number of high quality sheet materials.

Do you provide the worktops and white goods?

As part of the kitchen design process we help you choose which white goods, worktops and any other extras will work best. Due to our relationships with a number of suppliers we negotiate great prices which we pass on to our clients, often with them paying directly for these items. Our clients often express what good value the worktops are when purchased in this way.

What's your lead time?

Our typical working lead time is 15 weeks, however every project is different and smaller, simpler jobs often pass through our workshop faster, and some complex or multi-piece projects require months in planning.
